After the success of our self-initiated virtual NDP in 2021, Finute was invited by MINDEF and the NDP Executive Committee to build the Parade's official virtual experiences. We went on to serve as a partner across three National Day Parades — 2022, 2023 and 2024 — as both Major Partner and Principal Partner.
The parade, playable
Each year, we brought the Parade's most iconic moments into the virtual world. Players could fly the RSAF F-16 flypast, drive Leopard 2SG tanks in the mobile column, orchestrate the Presidential Gun Salute, and perform the Red Lions parachute jump — experiences impossible to offer physically, made accessible to anyone with a Roblox account.
Reach
- 2022: over 60,000 users joined the celebrations in the first month
- 2023: 51,000 users celebrated in-world with Lion City
- 2024: 90,000 users — our biggest virtual NDP yet
Across three years, more than 200,000 Singaporeans and friends of Singapore took part in NDP virtually. The work was recognised with NDP Partner Awards in all three years — the 2024 award presented by Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen.
Today, the NDP experience lives on inside Singverse, where the flypast, gun salute and parade grounds remain part of Singapore's permanent virtual world.
