Delegates explored the familiar spaces of the bank's Singapore premises — rendered in the same detail we bring to Singapore's expressways and landmarks — and experienced how onboarding, collaboration and events could work in a persistent virtual space.
What we learned
The corporate metaverse conversation has cooled since 2022, but the underlying lesson held: virtual spaces work when they serve a real audience need, not a headline. For UBS, that need was a Tech Summit talking point made tangible. For our government partners since, it has been education at scale. The craft — faithful recreation, intuitive navigation, purposeful design — is the same.
